Very little cushioning - I only kept the shoe for a little while before returning it but 2 things bothered me. 1. Felt very flat like no arch or cushioning 2. My heel lifted out of the shoe like never before. Heal lift has never been a problem for me, but with this shoe yes. I suspect that the shoe is pretty stiff and thus the cause of the heel coming out. This might have changed if I kept the shoe and broke it in. Just for comparison I have had both the Leona divide and the continental divide and liked both of them very much." Rating: [5 of 5 Stars]
